<Our item number 110923><B>&#40;Wallace, William H.&#41; - Antique Presentation Silver Cigar Humidor, c. 1880s.</B> Deluxe grade humidor with claw-foot pedestal design, c. 1880s, engraved on the top, &#34;W.H. Wallace from A.V. Mann,&#34; 4&#34; tall, 9¾&#34; long, and 5¼&#34; across, with claw feet and elaborate borders. Stamped on the bottom: &#34;Quadrupleplate / Wilcox Silverplate Co., Meriden, Conn.&#34; with the number &#34;1751&#34; below. The key is not present, otherwise fine. Confederate General William H. Wallace was the Lieutenant Colonel of the 8th South Carolina Infantry at the battle of Second Manassas; his regiment suffered 50% casualties.
