Measuring 18 1/4 inches overall, with a gently waving, well defined temper line on the 13 inch blade, and a nickel habaki with diagonal scoring. The tsuka and saya are both finished in a deep black lacquer with decorative floral inlay, showing golden stems and gold and silver blooms, with the tsuka fitted with raised chrysanthemum pattern mekugi-ana and a 7/8 inch wide floral engraved silver band around the center, and the saya has a pair of pockets, one on either side. The left holds a silver hilted kogatana knife, 7 3/4 inches overall with a 3 7/8 inch blade, engraved with floral designs on the grip and a signature on the blade, and the right pocket contains a pair of silver chopsticks 5 1/2 inches long with floral engraving.

Very good, with light spotting and handling marks are visible on the blade, with a few small dings along the edge and well defined temper line and grain. The tsuka is very good, with some light cracking and an absent kashira. The sheath is good, with some mild chips and scratches, and the kojiri and kurikata absent.
