Lot of 2. Both RPC's measure 10 7/8" x 3 1/4". 1) A view of Meeteetse, Wyoming. Open landscape photograph, roads can be seen that lead into the town. Mountains in the foreground and bushes that cover up the desert ground. Looks like a fairly small town. Good focus and contrast. Divided and unused, no border. Scratches on the photo, wear along the edges with stains on the reverse. 2) A closer view of Meeteetse. A wide dirt road that passes through the town. Mountains seen in the foreground. Caption of city and state at the bottom, but half of it has been cropped. Stains throughout both the front and back, with one minor tear to the top right. According to the Meeteetse, Wyoming website, this city was founded in the 1890s. "Meeteetse" is an old Shoshone Indian word for 'meeting place'. The city was most famous for the expansion of the Pitchfork Ranch. It was one of the first cattle ranching operations of the Big Horn Basin. It was also known for the last known colony of an endangered species the to be extinct, the Black Footed Ferret [http://www.codywyomingnet.com/meeteetse_wyoming/].
