Manufactured by the Mauser factory in 1942 for the Nazi Army and converted to .22 caliber by installing an Erma conversion kit dated 1937. The top of the receiver ring is marked "byf / 42". Eagle/135 proofs and eagle firing proofs are present. Barrel marked "40 Do11" and receiver sleeve marked "E.L.24" and "Nr / 2/R.R.1.1" with drop winged eagle proofs. Buttplate is marked "dpr / eagle/WaA407". Matching numbers on receiver, barrel, buttplate, stock, trigger guard, and barrel bands. Complete with cleaning rod, leather sling, original bolt, and original floor plate with spring.
