This is an exceedingly rare World War II USN (United States Navy) Vince Forge Company of Easton, PA., U.S.A. Mark VI or Mark V Hardhat Divers Knife. The knife is in all original complete very nice condition. The knife features a brass loop mounted to the pommel on a swivel that rotates around its circumference, a turned wood handle, a serrated edge on one side of the blade (13 teeth per inch issued 1935), brass cast sheath that the knife threads into. The blade is marked and is in exceptional condition compared to most Vince diving knives (as these were used in salt water, most blades have deep pitting, this blade does not). Knife is 13 5/8"L with a 6 5/8"L blade. Knife and scabbard are 14.25"L and 2 5/8" in diameter.
