Group of original WWII uniforms, belonging to Robert Livingston, who served with the 187th Infantry, a two battalion regiment with its men trained as both gliderists and parachutists. Lot includes a jump jacket, an Ike jacket, green wool pants, a wool shirt, a khaki shirt, two ties and two overseas caps. The jump jacket is large, size 42 regular, with ''42R'' stamped on the collar. It measures 20.5'' shoulder to shoulder, with a 24.5'' sleeve length and 30'' back length. All three Conmar zippers work, as well as all the snaps. There is light verdigris on some snaps and multiple stains on the jacket. Livingston's name is written on a period laundry tag stapled in the jacket. The Ike jacket, dated 1944 on the tag, is sized 36 regular, and has all original insignia, pinback, and sterling stamped wings. The oval is pinned (not sewn) on. Ribbon bars are pinback, collar discs are screwback. Laundry number is included on tag and is also written in the back of the jacket. There are a few moth holes, with one pencil eraser sized hole on the back. Pants are sized W32'' x L33'' on the tag, with the date tag being washed out, though Livingston's name is faintly inked inside. Wool shirt measures 15'' x 33'' and has a few stains and a few moth holes. The khaki shirt, with Livingston's laundry number on the tag, measures 15.5'' x 33''. Two ties included, one marked with his laundry number. Of the two caps, the khaki hat includes a laundry number. Lot also includes a picture of Livingston later in his life and a two-page NARA printout which matches the laundry number on the marked pieces. Overall good condition.
