Single bead sight on a round barrel, one line address/patent/model marking over "12 GA.-2 3/4 CHAMBER" marked on the left side of the barrel, choked full. The receiver sides have the game bird scenes with the inspector initials "R.L.B." next to a flaming Ordnance bomb on the left side. Checkered pistol grip stock and forearm with grip cap and serrated plastic factory buttplate. Length of pull is 14". The included photocopy of the August 20, 1942 dated Ithaca invoice lists this shotgun by serial number as one of several shotguns shipped to Raritan Arsenal, Metuchen, New Jersey. Raritan Arsenal was a U.S. Army facility in operation from 1917 to 1963.

Condition: Excellent. The barrel and magazine retain 97% original blue finish with some minor slide wear and some light spotting. The receiver retains 98% original blue finish with a faint plum patina, along with some minor scratches and light spotting. There are a few hairline cracks near the trigger guard, otherwise the wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches. There are a few minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering.
