Using a piston driven gas system and a detachable 10 round magazine, the Tokarev SVT was the Soviet Union's answer to the American Garand, and was popular both with the Soviets and the Germans who could successfully loot one. Hooded pin front and tangent rear sights, with "star/ 1940" on top of the receiver. Fitted with a 12-slot flash hider, bayonet lug and a cleaning rod running along the underside of the handguard. Fitted to the receiver is a 1940 dated PU sniper scope with base. Smooth stock, with wood and metal vented handguard, brown leather reinforced green canvas sling and a flat metal buttplate. With leather lens caps, a canvas scope cover and extra magazine.

Condition: Very fine as arsenal refurbished, showing 95% of the blue finish, with light pitting on the receiver cover and scattered handling marks. Stock is also very fine, with varnish loss and dents. Optics are clear and the action is excellent.
