WWII Production Browning Auto-5 Semi-Automatic Shotgun, #A11105, 16 ga., 28'' round barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut stock with round knob pistol grip, and original Browning black plastic buttplate. From 1940-1946 production of the Auto-5 was turned over to Remington - A serial number prefix for 16 ga., B for 12 ga., C for 20 ga. These Remington-made versions differ from their Belgian counterparts by use of a heavily matted receiver top and upper tang. Condition is near excellent retaining approx. 97%+ original Remington type blue. American walnut stock with light impressions to both sides and one somewhat significant, although shallow, scratch to right side of buttstock. Action remains crisp, bore is bright. Est.: $500-$750.
