Army Photographic Agency information sheet stapled to photo dates it to 9 June 1944 and states, ''...Telephone poles and lines, strung by Signal Corps men, establish communications between the forward moving troops and the beachhead…'' Glossy black and white photo measuring 8'' x 10'' has two staples, else near fine.
