Original World War II wire photo of a crane unloading cases of food at Omaha Beach, France. The U.S. Army Photographic Agency's information sheet glued to the verso dates photo to 1 July 1944 and states that the food will be delivered to soldiers on the front line and to French civilians. Black and white glossy photo measuring 10'' x 8'' has light corner creasing, else near fine. U.S. Army Signal Corps stamp to lower left corner.
