<B>WWII Pacific Theater Military Aviation Signature Lot</B></I> including an envelope, 9” x 4”, signed in red ink “<I>Gregory “Pappy” Boyington/ USMC</B></I>”, in very good condition; a first day cover commemorating the 165th Anniversary of the U.S. Marines, 6.5” x 3.75”, postmarked November 10, 1940, signed “<I>Gregory “Pappy” Boyington/ USMC</B></I>” in red ink, in fine condition; and a Victory Europe first day cover, 6.5” x 3.75”, postmarked May 8, 1945, signed by “<I>J. H. Doolittle</B></I>”, “<I>George C. Kenney</B></I>”, and “<I>Paul W. Tibbets</B></I>”, in fine condition. Each of these distinguished military men made major contributions to the war effort in the Pacific.
