WWII Nazi SS Officer Sword. The SS Ehrendegen (Honor Sword) was a ceremonial sword that signified high ranking membership in the SS and was gifted to those with special merit. This sword was given to officers and NCOs with the SS and was first introduced in 1935. This sword has early nickel silver fittings with nice wire wrapped grip with proper SS runes button. Underside of lower crossguard and scabbard throat marked with SS Kulturzeichen SS runes. Nice straight blade showing no nicks, scratches, or pitting. White leather washer intact separating lower crossguard from blade. Black painted scabbard displays normal wear. Very good condition. From the Michael Clifton collection. Donley Auctions will work with you to provide shipping. Shipper will contact you once items are paid for with a quote for shipping and handling. A signed FFL MUST be provided on ALL firearms regardless of vintage. As of 2019, all ammunition sold to CA residents must be shipped to an FFL. All items must be picked up from auction house within 5 days. Any item left over 5 days, will be charged $20 per day storage fee unless prior arrangements have been made.
If using your own shipper, please have your shipper contact us to arrange time and date of pickup. All items will be moved to an off site location after 5 days.

We work very hard for the consignor as well as the buyer. The auction moves fast between the auctioneer, the on site bids, and the live internet bids. Because of this, one little delay, or what we call 'hiccup' in the internet connection, can cause an online bid to be missed. We apologize if this happens, but it is sometimes inevitable. Please be aware of this when attending a Proxibid auction.
Due to the element of Third Party Auctions and the reliability/unreliability of technical issues, we reserve the right to end an auction early or extend an auction as we see fit. We value our customers, both buyers and sellers, and try very hard to ensure an exciting, smooth, successful auction! We are happy and willing to work with you under any circumstances.

Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the Proxibid feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins.
