Reinhard Heydrich Silverware and Time Magazine. Reinhard Heydrich was a SS official who was the Chief of the Reich Main Security Office which included the infamous Gestapo and one of the main architects of the Holocaust. Heydrich was one of the main organizers of Kristallnacht and also chaired the Wanasee Committee that formalized the plans for the extermination of Jews in occupied Europe. Heydrich was dedicated to the extermination of those that Nazi Germany saw as “subhuman” up until the very end. Heydrich was injured in an attempted assassination in Czechoslovakia and succumbed to his injuries in June 1942. Even after his death, his influence was felt in the concentration and extermination camps across Eastern Europe. The spoon, cup, and napkin ring all have the initials RH embellished in them. Spoon, cup, and napkin all have nice polish, RH initials deeply etched in all three. Time magazine cover has no damage and is in wrap. Included is a certificate of authenticity. Excellent condition.
