WWII Nazi Ilse Koch Photographs. Ilse Koch was the Chief of the Womens guards at the Buchenwald concentration camp and the wife of the Commandant of the camp, Karl-Otto Koch. She was known for her cruelty to the prisoners kept there, earning her the nickname "Die Hexe von Buchenwald" (The Witch of Buchenwald). She was sentenced to life in prison and would later commit suicide in prison. Photographs have no damage or fading present. Very good condition. From the Michael Clifton collection.
