WWII Nazi Gerd von Rundstedt Signed Notes. Field Marshal Ger von Rundstedt was a German field marshal of the Wehrmacht who served as a commander of Army Group South during the Poland campaign, Army Group A during the invasion of France, Army Group South in the invasion of the Soviet Union, and as the Commander-in-Chief of Wehrmacht forces in the West. Rundstedt had a long career in the military, entering the Prussian military in 1892. He was acquitted of war crimes during the Nuremberg Trials. Feldpost has signature that is slightly faded but still legible. Top left corner of Feldpost is missing and Feldpost is yellowed from age. Note in top right is yellowed from age but note has no damage of fading, has some wear on top and right edges. Handwriting on note is clear and legible. Bottom note is yellowed from age but has no damage of fading. Handwriting is clear and legible. Bottom left note has large piece missing in top left portion of note. Handwriting is slightly faded but still readable. Fair condition overall. From the Michael Clifton collection.
