This is a late 1941 production Luger pistol produced at the end of regular Nazi Army production. This Luger has the "41" chamber date with the front toggle marked with "byf", the wartime code for the Mauser factory. The right side of the barrel extension has the "eagle/655" Waffenamt proofs along with the single eagle firing proof. It has the full serial number (8828) stamped on the front of the frame, the barrel extension and the underside of the barrel. The last two digits of the serial number (28) are stamped on all the various remaining small parts, except the magazines and grips, which are unnumbered. It has standard fixed sights and safety/extractor markings. It is complete with two, late war magazines with the "eagle 37/fxo/P08" markings on the sides of the magazine bodies with black plastic bases. This pistol has a WWII black leather holster that is marked on the back "cdg/41/WaA101" and is complete with a WWII take down tool.
