Fixed sights, with "42" chamber date and "byf" Mauser code on the toggle. Eagle firing and "eagle/135" proofs are present on the right barrel extension and barrel. Safety and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively and the left side, rear of the frame is stamped "P.08". Matching full serial number on barrel extension, frame (with "i" suffix), and barrel, with the partial serial number (72) on the takedown latch, side plate, sear bar, safety bar, thumb safety, extractor, toggle, and toggle link. All blue finish with checkered grips and blue magazine with plastic base. The left side of the magazine is marked "fxo / eagle/37" and "P08" near the base. Complete with a brown leather holster, extra magazine, and takedown tool. The back of the holster is stamped "R. EHRHARDT / POESSNECK" next to an "eagle/WaW129" proof and the date "1939".

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with the grip straps thinned to a brown, moderate loss at the muzzle, and some minor edge wear. There is a patch of moderate pitting present below the right rear grip panel and some very light spotting on the grip straps. The grips are excellent with a few minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. The modified holster is very good with some minor handling marks and some minor age cracking. Belt loops have been removed with a U.S. pattern belt hanger added.
