Fixed sights, with "42" chamber date and "byf" Mauser code on the toggle. Eagle firing and eagle/135 proofs are present on the right barrel extension and barrel. Safety and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively and the left side of the frame is stamped "P.08". Matching full serial number on left barrel extension, frame (with "l" suffix), and barrel, with the partial serial number (48) on the takedown latch, side plate, sear bar, safety bar, thumb safety, extractor, toggle, and toggle link. All salt blue finish with checkered walnut grips and blued magazine with aluminum base. The left side of the magazine is marked "fxo / eagle/135" and "P08" near the base.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with some minor edge wear, some minor thinning on the grip straps, and extensive muzzle wear. There is some minor pitting on the breechblock, toggle, and front grip strap. The grips are excellent with some minor wear in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
