Dated 1939 over the chamber and marked "42" on the top of the toggle. Two "eagle/63" proofs and the "eagle/swastika" firing proof appear on the right side of the receiver with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "eagle/63" is on the upper left rear of the barrel. The upper safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. Matching numbers on the barrel, extension, frame, latch, side plate, sear, safety, toggle links, extractor, trigger, hold-open, toggle bolt, breechblock and firing pin. Checkered grips and blue finished magazine with aluminum base.

Condition: Very fine with 80% of the original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the grip straps, dented side plate and side of the frame, spotting on the barrel, dents on the side plate and mild handling marks overall. The toggle bolt has been renumbered. Grips are excellent, with mild dings and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
