Dated 1939 over the chamber and marked "42" on the top of the toggle. Two "eagle/63" proofs and the "eagle/swastika" firing proof appear on the right side of the receiver with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "eagle/63" is on the upper left rear of the barrel. The upper safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. Matching numbers on the barrel, extension, frame, latch, side plate, sear, safety, toggle links, extractor, trigger, hold-open, toggle bolt, breechblock and firing pin. Checkered wood grips.

Condition: Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the extension and grip straps, wear on the muzzle and high edges, a small amount of pitting on the barrel and side plate and mild handling marks overall. Grips are also very fine, with some mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent. Magazine base is crudely renumbered to match gun.
