WWII Japanese Nagoya Type 2 Paratrooper Takedown Rifle
Manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal. It still retains the Kanji marking on top of the receiver but the Chrysanthemum is mostly ground off but still visible. It has the military style tangent rear sight graduated to 1500 meters with the anti-aircraft wings and the inverted "V" front sight with guards. Has a muzzle cover. It has matching numbers on the various parts and the front and rear sections of the takedown assembly have matching assembly numbers, "316". It has a smooth hardwood stock, with full length hand guard, grasping grooves, and drain hole ahead of the take down mechanism.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish with some minor spotting. Screws are unturned. The stock is very fine with the exception of a minor gouge and a large shallow dent on the left side of the forearm, along with some minor dings and pressure marks overall.
