Offered for sale is a World War Two German Walther PP .32 ACP Officers Pistol. The pistol features 3 7/8" barrel, one 8 round magazine, brown grip panels, external hammer, fixed sights, and blue'd finish. This Walther PP is easily distinguished from the more common commercial models made after World War II by the simple “AC” code stamping on the side of the slide. This was the code indicating Walther manufacture and was only applied during the war years. The famed Walther PP was a popular sidearm of the Nazi officers as well as the SS and other elite troops. An outstanding example, this Walther PP retains nearly all of the wartime blue finish as well as the desirable brown grips with the Walther banner at the top of each panel. The PP was considered one of the finest designed and built of the small hammer .32 auto pistols and was one of the first to fire in either single action or double action mode. Original front and rear sights, clear markings, exc. minty-bright bore. Bottom of the magazine is clearly stamped with the Walther banner along with “PP 7/65 m/m.” A truly classic Nazi officer’s pistol that was probably brought back to the U.S. as a war trophy by a returning G.I. after we declared Victory Over Europe in 1945. This is a Curio & Relic firearm. FFL transfer or NICS background check required. The serial number is 388821
