WWII GERMAN TODT BADGE, SS CHEVRON, DUTCH SS

SS PROFICIENCY BADGE & CONCENTRATION CAMP TAG.
1) CONCENTRATION CAMP TAG. We have not encountered this tag before nor can we find a published reference showing it. However, it does seem to have significant age. The 1 1/2" diameter tag is a round iron disk with "KLB" on the front and stamped into the reverse is "BAHNHOF AUSCHWITZ B KZ" and "13 13 / J". It is suspended by an aged raw leather cord. We do not guarantee this tag is original nor can we say it is a recreation. CONDITION: tag generally has moderate wear. (02-17150-1/BF).
2) TODT PRIZE. A seldom seen 3rd version of the 3rd Class Dr. Fritz Todt Prize instituted by Dr. Robert Ley, the German Labor Front leader. It commemorated the achievements of Dr. Fritz Todt and honored his memory. It was given to Germans who made exceptional contributions to the war effort by improving weapons or munitions manufacture. The 3rd class prize was accompanied by an award of 10,000 Reichsmarks. The badge features an eagle atop a ribbon that reads, "DR. FRITZ TODT" all over a DAF cogwheel. The reverse is unmarked and has a wide pin. CONDITION: badge has a general gray finish overall with very light wear.
3) DUTCH BADGE. A rare WWII Dutch SS proficiency badge in original box. This gold badge features a large oval wreath surrounding the SS runes superimposed by a sword. The reverse has a narrow pin and is clearly marked, "N.S.B. NR 127 P.G.R". Tan box has a yellow abstract patterned paper cover and tissue paper on the inside. After careful examination, we feel that the badge is of post WWII manufacture however we are quite sure the box is original and of the period. Interested individuals are encouraged to examine the badge in person and make their own determination. CONDITION: badge shows light wear with some loss of finish and scattered verdigris. Box shows very light overall wear.
4) SS CHEVRON. A good example of an original SS rank chevron featuring silver bullion tape on black wool felt. CONDITION: chevron appears unissued. (02-17150-3/BF). $800-1,200.
