WWII era Winchester Model 12 trench gun, with canvas case. 12 gauge, chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells. Serial number indicates manufacture in 1943. Marked "US" with flaming bomb ordinance mark on right side of receiver, and "W.B.", with ordinance cartouche on left side of stock. Flaming bomb mark and inspection stamp also on barrel. Finish on stock and bluing on metal both appear original and unaltered. Olive green two piece canvas case appears original to gun, and manufactured by Lyon & Coulson, Buffalo NY. Bore is bright and clean, and stock is in very good condition. Bluing is about 80%, with some handling marks and wear, but no surface rust or pitting. No barrel shroud, bayonet lug, or sling. Overall very good condition. s#972107
