WITH HOLSTER. This interesting flare pistol was first produced by Nambu and was designated the Type 90 because of the date of its initial production, which was 2590 in the Japanese koki calendar. The year 2590 corresponds to our year 1930. The pistol has dual 28mm barrels for firing signal flares. There are a number of Japanese proofs on the pistol along with the serial number 0029 and patent numbers N093006 & N0101355. The barrel release bar is stamped “344”. Pistol has a blackened finish with 2-piece checkered composite grips. Pistol comes with its original brown leather holster with carrying strap. CONDITION: pistol shows light to moderate wear throughout with some loss of finish. Mechanics seem to function well. Bores show light use. Holster shows light overall wear.
