This is a Czech bayonet, made for use on the Czech version of the German Mauser. It is complete with scabbard and leather sheath. The blade is 11 3/4", with riccasso marked CSZ A, and cutting edge on top. The tip is worn, and the edge has a few nicks, but otherwise it is good, and greased. The grip is wood, with some nicks and wear, and apparently a nail or piece of metal added in. The leather holster is all intact. The scabbard is blued sheet-rolled-steel with ball tip, and frog stud marked CSZ D. It has wear and dings. In the scabbard, the overall length is 20". * This bayonet was used through the WWII period, and was probably made in the 1920's. This is a very nice example, especially to find with good leather and scabbard, and it will be great for a WWII or any military or blade collection.

You acknowledge that by accepting these Terms & Conditions you are opting in to receive emails and notifications about this auction sale and all other Universal sales and offerings. By signing up for a Universal auction sale, by placing a bid during a Universal Collectibles, Universal B&I or Universal Live Auctions auction sale or otherwise transacting with any Universal entity you are accepting the following terms and conditions: 1. Buyer's Premium: A buyer's premium will be in effect for all auction sales and shall be added to each purchase to reach the total sales price. Entire Agreement; Waiver. This Agreement, including the Universal’s User Agreement and all exhibits and other documents are incorporated herein by reference, set forth the entire understanding and agreement of the parties and supersede any and all other written or oral agreements or understandings between the parties as to the subject matter of this Agreement. In the event of an inconsistency between this Agreement and any other document, which is part of this Agreement, the terms of this Agreement shall govern. From time to time during the term of this Agreement, Universal Collectibles, Universal B&I or Universal Live Auctions may amend this Agreement (including any incorporated documents) by posting the amended terms on any Universal site, emailing notice of the amendment to the Buyer, or otherwise communicating such amendment to the Buyer. Each amendment will be effective immediately after it is initially posted on any Universal site, emailed to the Buyer, or otherwise communicated to the Buyer. The waiver of a breach of any provision of this Agreement will not operate or be interpreted as a waiver of any other or subsequent breach. The laws of the State of Illinois shall govern this Agreement and all transactions with Universal Collectibles, Universal B&I and Universal Live Auctions. REV. 2008-01
