I don't the company that made this watch. It has a black face with white numbers and the minute face is white. There is a coating on the hour hands, the number "9" and the dot next to number "8". On the back is engraved the British War Department arrow along with the initials G.S.T.P (General Service Temporary Pattern) and the number "L.1701". It measures 2 1/4" in diameter. The face glass is relatively clear of scratches and marks; the back shows average wear. It winds good and keeps great time both in hours and seconds. Once in a while I find it does stop (I don't know if it runs down or if it sticks) - when I pull out the top and push it back in, it starts right back ticking which is clearly audible. This is an estate piece and the gentleman who owned it was a WWII veteran.
