Used during World War II by the Navy and US Marines, the TBY-4 two-way radio was famously utilized by Navajo Code Talkers to send and receive secret messages. World War II–era radio transmitter/receiver unit issued as part of a TBY-4 radio set, measuring approximately 10˝ x 7.5˝ x 8.25˝, bearing a Navy Department–Bureau of Ships plate on the side: "Type CRI-43044, Transmitter-Receiver, 33.4 Pounds, Serial 263." Includes an eight-segment antenna. This was the primary component of the TBY-4 two-way radio set, which also included a power unit, headset, and bag. In very good to fine condition.
