The German Bavarian 98/05 "Butcher Blade" bayonet was the most common bayonet used by the German army in WWI, it was called the "Butcher Blade" by the Allies due to it's distinctive shape. This blade was manufactured by Fichtel & Sachs in Schweinfurt, with spine marking for Ludwig 1915. Matching sheath with proper markings, some slight rusting on the sheath, original wood handle grip. Overall good condition.
