The top of the chamber is marked 1917, for the year of manufacture and the top of the toggle is marked "DWM". The right side of the barrel extension is marked with the correct three crown over script proofs next to the Imperial Eagle acceptance proof, the right side of the barrel has an Imperial Eagle proof and the underside of the barrel is marked with the pistol serial number, the letter suffix and the bore diameter 8,82. It is equipped with the very scarce and desirable fully adjustable "Fine Tune" front and rear sight that have the small adjustment screw. It is fitted with replacement checkered walnut grips and a replacement blue magazine that has an un-numbered wood base. It has the straw colored small parts with the rust blued finish on the remaining parts.

Condition: Very fine with 90% of the original blue finish with 30% of the original straw colored parts with minor wear on the grip straps, the side plate hump, the edges of the muzzle and the general edge and high spots overall, with some very minor blue touch up on the top of the rear toggle. The reproduction, replacement grips are very good showing generally crisp checkering. It has matching numbers except the magazine and the firing pin and grips which are unnumbered but appear to be correct. Mechanically excellent.
