This is a very nice example of a desirable WWI German artillery Luger with accessories. These specific example is a 1916 production Model 1914 Artillery that is complete with a mismatched number correct style wooden shoulder stock, leather holster, two magazine pouches, shoulder straps, take down tool and cleaning rod. The top of the chamber is marked 1916 for the year of manufacture and the top of the toggle is marked DWM with standard features and markings. The right side of the barrel extension is marked with the Crown over the Script letters followed by the Imperial German Proof. The bottom of the barrel has the serial number and the bore diameters dimensions and the right side of the barrel also has the Imperial Eagle proof. The rear sight is the correct artillery model that is calibrated from 100-800 meters and the front sight is the inverted "V" blade, with only the rear sight having the fine tune adjustment feature that was only produced in the mid war years. It is correctly numbered in the military fashion with the full serial number on the frame, barrel and barrel extension with the last two digits of the serial number on the various small parts. It is complete with the following; a correct WWI brown leather holster that is marked on the back "HANS DEUTER/1917/AUGSBURG" which has a take down tool, and cleaning rod inside, a correct wooden shoulder stock with an original blued attaching iron that is numbered on top 5412/g, the two leather shoulder straps, with an attached unmarked brown leather double magazine pouch with an additional brown leather double magazine pouch with two wooden base magazines inside.

Condition: Excellent with 95% of the original blue finish with some wear on the edges and high spots with slightly more thinning on the grip straps, the side plate hump, the front of the frame rails and the left side of the front sight base. 30% of the original straw colors remain. The grips are in fine condition with nice checkering on both sides with even honest wear across the tops of the checkering with some minor light pressure dents in a couple of places. The leather holster, straps, and magazine pouches are all in excellent condition with a nice matching dark brown color on all the pieces showing only minor scuffing with some light age cracking in places. The wooden shoulder stock is also in fine condition with a nice light blonde color overall with 75% of the blue finish on the attaching iron.
