WWI Erfurt 1918 Dated Luger Pistol with Holster
This is an example of a standard WWI German Luger pistol as manufactured near the end of the World War I. Fixed sights, with the "1918" date on the chamber and the "crown/ ERFURT" on top of the toggle. Proofing is extensive, with the traditional barrel extension and firing proofs supplemented with stamps on the side rail, takedown latch, side plate and the front of the trigger guard. Matching numbers on the frame, extension and barrel, with matching partial numbers on the latch, side plate, trigger, sear, safety components, extractor and toggle links. Properly "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" marked on the upper safety position and extractor. Grips are checkered, with a nickel finished wood base magazine. With an unmarked brown leather flap holster.

Condition: Excellent, with approximately 95% of the original blue finish, showing a few small areas of gray patina, mild edge wear and scattered handling marks. Straw colors are approximately 70% and are original. Grips are very fine, with mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
