The top of the chamber is dated 1917 and the toggle has the standard crown over "ERFURT" marking. Crown/gothic letter and Imperial eagle proofs are present with the crown/RC arsenal rework proof on the right barrel extension, crown/X proof on the top left side of the barrel indicating a serviceable Luger that had parts fail initial inspection because of non-critical tolerance or external flaws, and the bore marking on the barrel underside. Safety and extractor marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. Full serial number on the frame (with "f" suffix), left barrel extension, and barrel underside, with the partial serial number on the takedown latch, side plate, safety bar, thumb safety, extractor, toggle and toggle link. Straw finished trigger, magazine catch, ejector, and thumb safety lever. Fixed sights, checkered grips numbered to gun (26), and non-matching nickel body magazine with wood base.

The grips are fine with some minor nicks in the overall crisp overall. Mechanically excellent.
