This is a very fine example of the 1914 Military pattern, WWI luger as used by all German forces. These pistols have an all rust blued finish with straw colored small parts. The top of the barrel extension is dated 1915 and the front toggle is marked "DWM". The right side of the barrel extension has the three "crown/gothic letter" proofs next to the Imperial Eagle proof. The Imperial Eagle proof is also marked on the top, rear section of the barrel, left side of the breechblock, right side of the barrel extension. The upper safety position and extractor are correctly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN". Standard checkered walnut grips, with the correct nickel plated magazine body with the unmarked wooden base.
