Superb piece of WW1 Trench Art. Pyrography work on the back showing a Red Cross Nurse up top, and a doughboy and his sweetheart at the bottom. Violin has two names of GI's on the back. One is Clyde Tindall a Corporal from Wahoo Nebraska, the other is Fritz Friebel a Sargent from Tampa Florida. This violin is out of the private collection of Jane Kimball who wrote the Trench Art Book.
