WW II period P-38 semi-auto pistol, by CYQ, 9mm Luger cal, arsenal blue finish, composite grips in excellent original condition #6456. The pistol shows 95%-98% dull military blue finish, just some slight handling and toning, all matching serial#s; excellent bore, full military inspections, JVD marked late spot welded issue clip; crisp overall showing late war workmanship. The best late war P-38 we have seen in a long while. Shows importer marks on bottom of right slide and probably fouin Eastern Europe in the last two decades. Consigner states "found in East German DDR arsenal in 2005. Stored for 50 years". Est.: $300-$600.
