<b>249. [WW II US NEWSMAPS]</b>
<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>Fine collection of 50 weekly WW II military news posters. Great content. The earliest is a civilian publication printed on one side, “World News of the Week, Military Edition” for Apr 6-10, 1942. The other 49 are US Army Orientation Course produced “NEWSMAPS,” a broken set covering the period Jun 26, 1942 through Mar 9, 1944. Printed on both sides, each 47"x35" heavily illustrated issue contains brief articles accompanied by colorful maps describing the progress of the war on all fronts during this period including the fighting in the Philippines, North Africa, Italy and Russia. Versos served as training posters for the troops, displaying such details as German insignia, plane and tank recognition charts, gas attack procedures, etc. Set contains one duplicate and two smaller 24"x18" overseas editions, duplicating larger versions present. Versos of two earliest issues are blank. These fine examples provide excellent coverage and news of interest to the average soldier interspersed with humorous happenings along the way.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,
whichever is higher.

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject
to increased charges. All items are shipped

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
must be returned with two letters denying it’s
authenticity by expert authenticators acceptable
