WW I era German Luger semi-auto pistol, by DWM dated 1916, 9mm cal., 8” barrel, fine tuning front and rear sights, original blue finish, checkered wood grips, #7158. The pistol shows approx. 80%-90% original blue finish, some losses at highpoints, edges and gripping areas from normal military handling and use; some scattered light to moderate erosion and pin prick pitting; all in the normal areas of the muzzle, contact points, etc.; all matching visible serial #s; good sharpmarkings, correct WW I period wood bottom clip that does not match. The grips are good with some staining and small losses; the bore is bright. An above average Artillery Luger with desirable sights and that would improve significantly withthe addition of a holster and stock which are featured at other lots in this auction.
