Fan painting with Chinese landscape on front and Chinese script at the back. Signed and attr. Wu Guxiang (Chinese, 1644-1911) with four red seals. Wooden frame carved detailed fruits and blossoms. With one thin hair line crack on frame. 17 x 53 cm. u Guxiang was a Chinese visual artist who was born in 1848. Wu Guxiang has had several gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the National Palace Museum. Many works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'SET OF 24;SCENERY OF JIANGSU' sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong 'Fine Chinese Paintings' in 2017 for $476,164. The artist died in 1903.
