"Blowin' Down this Road" is sold by Guthrie - it would later evolove into the Dead's "Goin' Down the Road"

(1912 - 1967) American song writer and musician, , considered the "Father of American Folk music", best known for his masterpiece, "This Land Is Your Land." Typed D.S. signed three times, 4pp. 4to., New York, [n.d., ca. 1960], in which Guthrie signs over his rights to the song "Blowin' Down This Road" to People's Songs, Inc. People's Songs was a label and organization formed by Guthrie in 1945 to distribute folk music. Light toning, else fine. This song also had several variations, its most moder being "Goin' Down the Road", most notably performed by the Grateful Dead with some lyrics idential to those written by Guthrie.
