WOODROW WILSON: (1856 - 1924) Twenty-eighth President of the United States who passed sweeping reform laws, gave women the right to vote, and led the United States through World War I setting the ground work for the League of Nations. Partly-printed D.S. 1p. oblong 12mo., Princeton, Feb. 15, 1901, a check ordering payment of $3.86 to James Hogarty. Along with a bold signature on an 8vo. Sheet from Versailles, dated 1919 on verso and bearing thereon three additional signatures from participants of the Versailles Peace Conference. Both pieces are handsomely presented with a printed invitation to Wilson's inauguration, Mar. 5, 1917, as well as a inaugural steel engraving and color Versailles portrait. The check bears the usual cut cancels, not affecting signature, otherwise both pieces are in very good condition. Unexamined out of frame. $300-500
