WONDERFUL NEEDLEWORK SEWING BOX. 17th Century. All surfaces are completely covered in satin, petit point, and other stitches in silk and metallic thread in soft, faded shades of ivory, green, tan, pink, blue, gold, etc., with some seed pearl accents. Flowers, birds, deer, leopards with "EP" are above two doors that have castles and a king and queen. The sides have various religious scenes and the lift lid has Abraham's sacrifice. Two lift lids and the interior has seven drawers with geometric stitched fronts. Wear and replaced hinges (one loose) and bale side handles. 10"w. 7"d. 9 14"h.
