Dated 1652, with inscription “Charlotta Grävin und Frewlein von Hoenloe Schillinggsfürst 1652“ The women on the two paintings are from the princely Hohenlohe family in Franken, north-west Bavaria. The family is known since the XII:th century and owns the castle of Hohenlohe, not far from Nürnberg. Schillingfûrst is the name of the baroque castle of the princes of Hohenlohe-Schillingfûrst. The two women on the paintings are the princess Philippina Hohenlohe-Schillingfürst, born in 1620, and the princess Charlotte Hohenlohe-Schillingfürst, born in 1625. It is known from a letter dated 1651 that Wolfgang Heimbach planed to return from Italy and pass through the Nürnberg region.
