Title Lobby Card- Linen Finish Paper (11" x 14")
Very Fine
Paramount, 1927

Rare linen finish surface. Repaired minute pinhole top center. Subtle stress of paper along the left edge with a slight touch-up to the letter "W." Also, slight touch-up to the right side in the yellow field. There is a small bend on the lower left corner and a small tear in the bottom center, both backed with archival repair tape. Beautiful, vibrant color for this almost century-old artifact.

The first film to ever win an Academy Award for Best Picture, this World War I action drama stars Charles "Buddy" Rogers and Richard Arlen as combat pilots who, in a plot development echoed by Pearl Harbor 74 years later, fall in love with the same woman (Clara Bow). Praised at the time for the veracity of its aerial combat sequences, it is also notable for launching the screen career of Gary Cooper, who appears as Cadet White.
