RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. NSN. Bbl. 27". Model 60A single shot bolt action rifle mfg. by Winchester between 1932 and World War II. The left side of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the model and cal. designations, as well as the Winchester trademark logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which exhibits a nickel plated finish. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock, with grasping grooves and Winchester checkered black synthetic buttplate. Dovetailed brass beaded blade front sight, with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some areas of light to mild wear and thinning, with light surface oxidation present overall. Bolt retains the vast majority of its original nickel finish, exhibiting some small spots of flaking. Very bright bore, exhibiting some scattered spots of light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Stock shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (25-1792/MLW). CURIO. $200-400.
