SHOTGUN. Cal. 410, 3". NSN. Bbl. 24". Model 41 single shot bolt action shotgun mfg. by Winchester between 1920-1934. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard markings denoting Winchester's mfg. and patent information, as well as the model and cal. designations, followed by "-FULL CHOKE- 3 IN.". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt, which is polished in-the-white. 1-piece plain wood pistol grip buttstock has been sanded and revarnished at one time. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory finish, exhibiting a few spots of light to mild wear and thinning, as well as some scattered spots of dark light to mild surface oxidation. Trigger guard exhibits areas of wear and thinning that show through to a brown patina. Bolt exhibits scattered handling marks and spots of age related discoloration. Mirror bore. Stock shows scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1897/MLW). CURIO. $300-400.
