1) MODEL 1911 "WIDOWMAKER" SELF-LOADING. Cal. 12 GA. S# 16039. Bbl. 28 1/8". Model 1911 self-loading shotgun mfg. by Winchester in 1912 (second year of production). Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard markings denoting Winchester's mfg. and patent information, followed by the cal. designation and a "FULL" choke marking. Model designation present on the upper receiver tang. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt, which is polished in-the-white. Replacement checkered wood finger groove forearm and checkered pistol grip buttstock with checkered black synthetic Winchester buttplate. Blade front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original blue finish, showing light to mild edge wear, some scattered spots of light surface oxidation / pitting, as well as areas of mild pitting on the receiver. Bore is relatively bright, exhibiting scattered spots and patches of light to mild pitting. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows some scattered scratches and marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. (25-4464/MLW). 2) MODEL 40. Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". S# 6480. Bbl. 30 1/8". Model 40 semi-automatic shotgun mfg. by Winchester in 1940 (second year of production). Standard markings on left side of bbl. denoting Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the model and cal. designations above "FULL". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt assembly, which is polished in-the-white. Plain wood forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered brown hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Blade front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original blue finish, showing some light to mild wear, with scattered spots and patches of light to mild pitting present primarily on the left side. Mirror bore. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks, scratches, and impressions from handling and storage. Left side of forearm exhibits a crack stemming from the left side of the receiver. Left side of stock exhibits a crack on the wrist, stemming from the receiver, with another crack on the comb that is stemming from the buttplate. (25-4513/MLW). ALL CURIO. $800-1,200.
