WILSON "TEDDY" BEAR. Jointed, white mohair bear with padded paws and feet. Red, white and blue ribbon around his neck and hanging from the .75" multicolored celluloid pinback button on his chest. The button reads, "Rebuilding the World" and the ribbon hanging from it reads "Wilson" in black letters. Probably issued during the period when Wilson was strongly advocating American involvement in the League of Nations. 25" long, above average condition for bears of this vintage, with only minor wear and soiling. An interesting political piece, as well as a "find" for a bear or toy collection. PLEASE NOTE: THIS LOT WILL BE SOLD ON EBAY LIVE AUCTIONS BETWEEN 3:00-4:00pm EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME ON MAY 10, 2002.
