He was trained in an academic style at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and also studied in Paris and Florence. His best known works were nudes and allegorical murals including a five panel work based on sports commissioned for Princeton Univeristy. Yarrow exhibited at the San Francisco Pan Pacific Exposition in 1915 and won the silver medal for an Impressionistic nude.<BR><BR>Franklin Riehlman: Nicely painted. Artist has brought six figures. Where are the rest of his paintings? Won an award for a painting of a female nude in 1910s.<BR>1 <BR><BR><B>Condition Report:</B> canvas has a wax lining, 2in. x 2in. L-shaped tear left of figure inpainted with small patches of inpainting in upper arm, two small areas of overpaint in neck, two small punctures in right knee area repaired and overpainted, otherwise very good condition
